As an artist, I have been incredibly intrigued by creation; the creation of man, the creation of nature, the creation of our hearts. Each of these things has been intricately designed and brought to life by God.
As I have contemplated the desires of my heart, I have realized that I desire to capture my own journey of healing and my awe of God in my work. Whether it be through landscapes, religious imagery, or the human person, I desire to communicate God’s miraculous presence in everything.
My work has been greatly influenced by my college years spent in Philadelphia, studying in Rome, and serving as a Catholic Missionary in New York. Each of these experiences, wildly unique and surprising, have influenced the lens that I wear as I walk through life. Through brighter colors and textures, I capture life with a view of hope.
In addition, I have embarked on a unique healing journey for the past two years. It has transformed my view of myself, my life, and of God. Healing has allowed me to dream again, give myself permission to desire, and create.
